Druid

Root-Tender of the Greenwatch

Everything grows back, with a little help.

Support Ranged Magic damage

Everything grows back. Eventually. Mostly. Let me help it along.

Playstyle

The Druid is the raid's support: Renewal heals an ally steadily over a few seconds and clears poison and burn. Bark Skin doubles his own regeneration and toughens him when he is hurt, so he is hard to put down while he works.

Favored foe: Beasts take 10% more damage from the Druid. Races: Spider, Wolf, Bat, Slime, Dragon, Naga, Troll.

Story

The ruins of the Greenwatch were wild long before the Ranger first stood watch there, and the Druid is the reason they are still standing. He has spent years persuading the old arches to hold up instead of fall down. He talks to them, and in the slow way of stone and moss, they have started to listen.

When the Sleepless Gate woke, the oldest oak in the forest dropped a single acorn at his feet, and he took the hint. He knows the beasts of the Deep the way a gardener knows weeds: he does not hate them, he simply knows exactly where to cut.

His cloak is leaves that regrow every spring, his staff is a living branch with a glowing crystal in its crown, and the pouch at his belt holds seeds, tea, and a snack for whoever looks hungry. He is cheerful in a way that makes the grim ones nervous.
