Necromancer

Gravekeeper of Marrowfield

The skeleton does the fighting. He does the apologizing.

Attaccante A distanza Danno magico

Please do not be alarmed by my friends. They are only resting. Loudly.

Stile di gioco

The Necromancer is a summoner: he never attacks himself, because a skeleton fights in his place, takes the enemy's first strikes, and rises again after the enemy hits its master. Raise Legion calls extra skeletons for a few turns, and since his own health is low, those skeletons are what keeps him standing.

Nemico prediletto: Humanoids subiscono +10% di danni dal Necromancer. Razze: Human, Orc, Goblin, Lizardfolk, Cyclops, Minotaur.

Storia

Marrowfield is a burial ground so old that nobody remembers whose it was, which made the Necromancer its caretaker by default. He mows around the stones, relights the candles, and when the residents grow restless, he asks them politely to be useful instead.

He wears a horned skull, the helm of the last caretaker, who left a note saying only that it was the best listener the field had. The mantle is autumn leaves, collected one by one. The staff burns with a lantern flame that has never gone out, much like the torches of the Gate, which he considers a coincidence and everyone else considers a clue.

He never strikes a blow himself. It is not a matter of principle; it is that Clatter, his skeleton, is better at it and has never once complained. Clatter takes the first hit, gets back up, and both of them consider this a fair arrangement.
