Terms

These are the rules for using Moboria. We wrote them in plain words so you can read them in a few minutes.

The short version

• Moboria is an early demo. It can break, and it can change.
• Your progress, coins and items can be changed or reset.
• Coins and items are only for the game. They are not money, and you cannot sell or trade them.
• Be kind in chat. Cheaters and abusers can be blocked.
• You keep your own words. You let us use your feedback.

What Moboria is

Moboria is a dungeon raid game played live on the Twitch channel moboria_online. Viewers join with chat commands such as !join and play together. This website shows the live raid and, if you log in with Twitch, your coins and items. It is run by the Moboria team. By using the stream, the chat or this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

Who can use it

• You must be 13 or older, because Twitch requires that.
• You need a Twitch account to play or to log in.
• You must follow Twitch's own rules and community guidelines while you use Moboria. They apply in the chat too.

Early demo, no warranty

Moboria is an early playable demo. We give it to you "as is", which means we make no promises that it works, that it is always online, that it is free of bugs, or that it fits what you want. Raids can crash, restart or end for no clear reason. The site can be slow or down.

Progress can change or reset

Your hero levels, coins, items and anything else you earn can be changed, rebalanced or reset at any time. We may do this to fix a bug, to make the game fairer, or to start over as the game grows. We will try to warn you in the stream or chat when we can, but we do not promise to.

Coins and items have no cash value

• Coins and items exist only inside Moboria. They are not money, they cannot be turned into money, and nothing in Moboria costs real money today.
• You may not sell, buy, trade, give away or transfer coins, items, heroes or accounts, for money or for anything else, on or off Twitch.
• We will not refund or replace coins or items that are lost, reset or removed.
• You may not use more than one account, or a bot, to collect rewards.

How to behave

This covers the chat, the game and the feedback you send with !report and !suggest.

• Be respectful. No hate, harassment, threats or bullying.
• No spam, and no flooding the chat with commands.
• Do not share private information about yourself or anyone else.
• Do not pretend to be someone else, including the Moboria team or Twitch staff.
• Do not cheat. If you find a bug, report it with !report instead of using it for an advantage.
• Do not attack or overload the website or the server, or try to get into data that is not yours.

Feedback is limited to 300 characters, and you can send one message per minute. Keep it about the game.

When we may block you

If you break these rules, we may remove you from a raid, take away coins or items you got by cheating, block your account from the game and the site, or ask the channel's moderators to ban you from the chat. We decide this on our own. We may do it without warning when the problem is serious.

The service may change or stop

We may change Moboria, add or remove features, or shut it down for a while or for good. We may do this at any time, with or without notice.

Who owns what

• Ours: the art, text, design and code of Moboria belong to the Moboria project or to the people who license them to us. You may link to the site and the stream and share what you see on Twitch. Please ask us before you use our art, name or logo for anything else.
• Yours: you keep ownership of the words you write, including your feedback.
• What you give us: when you send us feedback, you let us read it, copy it, change it and use the ideas in it for Moboria, without paying you or giving you credit. If we want to show your exact words with your name, we will ask you first.

Twitch and other companies

Moboria is not affiliated with Twitch. Twitch runs the chat, the stream and your login, under its own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for Twitch or for any other company's site. Other names belong to their owners.

Limits on our responsibility

Moboria is free and made by a small team. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for lost progress, lost coins or items, downtime, or any other loss that comes from using the demo. Nothing in these terms takes away rights that the law gives you.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top. If you keep using Moboria after that, you accept the new version.
